The Hampton Terrace Community Association is partnering with Metropolitan Ministries again this year for a month long holiday food & toy drive! Metropolitan Ministries' mission is to care for the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in our community through services that alleviate suffering, promote dignity and instill self-sufficiency.
We will be accepting non perishable food items as well as toys for ages 0-17 from November 7th through December 11th!

Last year we donated 4 very full barrels and over $300 in Turkeys. Can you help us beat that this year?
You can drop items off in the blue barrels at one of the three locations below:
-
Xtreme Tacos
-
Hampton Station
-
1226 E Powhatan Ave (On Porch)
Their top food items are non-perishable foods like cereal, canned yams, boxed stuffing, and cranberry sauce as well as turkeys and hams.
Their top holiday toy items are gifts for teens, such as: jewelry, purses, makeup, hair accessories, cologne or perfume, sports clothing and hats.

The HTCA will also be purchasing frozen turkeys and hams to drop off at their tents (since these cannot be collected in the barrels), so if you would like to donate money towards that, you can do so at the link on this page. The HTCA will match all donations up to $300.
Thank you for helping to support our community!
